Pupil Leadership Teams
In school, we have a variety of Pupil Leadership Teams (PLTs).
Pupil Leadership Teams consist of groups of committed, enthusiastic pupils who work in partnership with staff and students to make our school an even better place. Members of the team act as role models, represent student views, and help lead initiatives within their focus area that support learning, well-being, and the wider school community.
General role and responsibilities:
Representing the views and ideas of pupils across the school
Leading projects that improve the school environment
Supporting school events and assemblies
Promoting positive behaviour, inclusion, and respect
Working with staff to make decisions that affect school life
Meeting regularly withy PLT peers.
Every term, selected representatives of each Pupil Leadership Team come together to form the school Council and share their progress and discuss any agenda items. News and updates from the meeting are shared with pupils, staff, parents and with other invited stakeholders such as school governors and local partners.
