Introduction to Club 315

Club 3:15 is our after school club. It caters for children from Nursery across to Year 6 who attend Canon Sharples School and Holy Family School. There is a free pick up service for Holy Family children at the end of the school day which brings them to the Club.

The Club opens from 3:15 – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

The cost is:       £5.25 for 3:15 – 4:15

                         £7.75 for 3:15 – 5:15

                         £9.00 for 3:15 – 6:00

If parents are late picking children up then a late charge will be applied.

There are four members of staff who are all fully qualified in childcare and with enhanced CRB clearance.

The club manager is Natalie Toner and play workers Robyn Mulligan and Jane Edwards who are teaching assistants at Canon Sharples School during the day. This ensures great continuity as the children are already familiar with them and clear lines of communication exist between families, school and Club 3:15.

The children participate in a range of activities at the club. There are board games, construction toys, creative equipment, role play and computers. They can also choose to participate in leader – led activities which are changed weekly. The children can also go outside each day (weather permitting) or play team games in the School Hall.

Water and milk are always on hand along with a selection of fruit.

At 4:30 the children are given a healthy snack. This varies, options include wraps or pitta breads with a selection of fillings and salad, soup and crusty bread, jacket potatoes, beans on toast and pasta and they are followed by a variety of healthy desserts. We also have a themed night monthly where the children can try food from different countries and cultures. The club caters for any dietary needs the children may have.

The Club focuses on sharing, friendship and respect for each other allowing the children to have as much fun as possible.

In the most recent OFSTED inspection, Club 3:15 were awarded Good in all aspects of the report.
